EMPOWERED โ Skopje trilateral conference
ASB South East Europe was proud to take part in the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ โ ๐๐ค๐จ๐ฉ๐ฃ๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐, held in Skopje and dedicated to strengthening the inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
The conference opened with high-level remarks from:

๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ข, Director of IRZ, and
๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฏ, Director of ASB Serbia.
Representatives of state institutions, embassies, employers, organizations of persons with disabilities, NGOs and experts exchanged good practices on inclusive employment, alignment with the UN CRPD, and strengthening regional cooperation.
Panel discussions focused on:
regional cooperation and institutional reforms in line with the UN CRPD
policies supporting employment of persons with disabilities, inclusive education and private-sector engagement
participation of persons with disabilities in policymaking and stronger regional advocacy networks
The conference resulted in concrete recommendations to improve coordination, promote inclusive policies and increase employability of persons with disabilities across the region.
The event was jointly organized by ASB South East Europe, CDI Macedonia – ะะ ะ ะะฐะบะตะดะพะฝะธัะฐ, #AlbanianDisabilityRightsFoundation and PREDA Plus Foundation, within the EMPOWERED project, implemented with financial support from Bundesministerium fรผr wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)
