Supporting Women’s Integration in rural areas of Kosovo

A journey that opened conversations often left unspoken.

Through the project ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐งโ€™๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Š๐จ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฏ๐จ, difficult and rarely discussed topics were brought into the openโ€”creating space for learning, dialogue, and change. From domestic violence and womenโ€™s rights to reproductive health, financial literacy, renewable energy, and the role of men as allies in gender equality, the project went beyond awareness to real empowerment.

Importantly, men were actively engaged and informed, together with women, helping raise awareness on domestic violence and womenโ€™s rights, strengthening understanding, responsibility, and support within families and communities.

Implemented by WEntrepreneur Kosova and ASB South East Europe, and funded by the European Union in Kosovo, WIntegra reached women and communities in Dragash, Gracanica, and Novo Brdoโ€”leaving behind empowered women, informed men, and stronger, more inclusive communities.
