We are thrilled to announce the opening of another Women’s Community Engagement Centre (W-CEC) in Gračanica/Graçanicë Municipality as part of the European Union-funded initiative project “WIntegra”.
This initiative, implemented by Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) in partnership with WEntrepreneur, continues to create safe spaces for women to learn, grow, and thrive in their communities.
The opening was graced by the presence of the Mayor of Gračanica/Graqanicë Municipality Ms.Ljiljana Šubarić, who expressed her committed support for female empowerment and the center’s mission. She emphasized the importance of providing women with opportunities to develop skills, access resources, and actively participate in shaping their communities.
The Women Community Center in Gračanica/Graqanicë Municipality will offer programs ranging from legal rights awareness, healthcare education, career counseling, and IT skills to advocacy training and discussions on culturally significant topics. These efforts are designed to foster personal and professional growth, creating a stronger, more inclusive community.
With the support of European Union standing by this vision, and with the incredible work of project “WIntegra” and ASB, the women of Gračanica/Graqanic Municipality are stepping confidently toward a future of empowerment and equality.
