Within the project “Direct socio-economic support to extremely vulnerable families in 16 regions in BiH”, during the past weeks, four party agreements have been signed between beneficiaries in municipalities: Bosanski Petrovac, Petrovac-Drinić, Bihać, Srbac and Stari Grad.
34 agreements have been signed with individual beneficiaries, other 2 with institutions – Sumero Alliance, social service provider for persons with disabilities and Merhamet BiH, who is producing and distributing food to public kitchens and socially endangered persons. This totals 140 person who will experience direct benefits from this project.

After the official agreements signing, the beneficiaries attended the training on “Basics of greenhouse production”, by experts in field. They were introduced to opportunities for income-generating activities, but also threats and common mistakes in greenhouse production, as well as how to avoid them.

The selection of beneficiaries was carefully carried out by the Centers for Social Affairs in abovementioned municipalities.
