A a result of a successful cooperation between German Foreign Ministry (GFM) and ASB South East Europe, socio-economic assistance to the most vulnerable in Serbia continues in 2020.
Within the project “Socio-economic assistance to extremely vulnerable families and local social service providers in 4 project municipalities of Serbia” ASB in will directly assist 75 vulnerable families from the Register of respective Social Welfare Centres in Serbia, through provision agricultural, grant-based economic packages (agro training + greenhouses) for income substitution.
Additionally, with this action will be supported 5 local, NGO-run social service providers or state-managed public institutions providing social care for vulnerable citizens, through provision of training inclusive greenhouses for therapeutic activities and production of fresh food (vegetabales) for social service users.
Project is funded by German Foreign Ministry together with local municipalities and ASB with total amount of 188,000 EUR in period of one year.
Project goal is to proactively contribute to post-conflict stabilization through socio-economic assistance for socially and economically disadvantaged minority and majority families and local social service providers in Municipalities of Coka, Bela Palanka, Lucani and City of Krusevac , thus promoting steady local development within the state.
