New partnership for women’s empowerment in Vlasenica

Strong local partnerships create lasting change. By working together with committed local organizations, we are expanding support for women who need it most.

We are pleased to announce that, following the completion of the public call for small grants under the project “Providing Assistance to Vulnerable Women and Developing an Integrated Social Protection Program”, we signed a grant agreement with the Association NODAS, which is joining the project as a new local partner.

The project is jointly implemented by ASB SEE and the Association Zene sa Une, with financial support from the European Union.

Through a grant worth EUR 19,990, the new partner will implement activities over the next three months in the Municipality of Vlasenica, one of the ten local communities participating in the project. The planned activities aim to improve the socio-economic position of women from marginalized and rural communities, as well as women with specific health challenges. They will also strengthen the capacities of relevant institutions to better identify and refer cases of domestic violence, while organizing preventive health screening programmes for women.

We are especially pleased to expand our network of partners committed to creating safer, more inclusive and equitable communities. We look forward to working together to achieve lasting and meaningful improvements in the lives of women in Vlasenica.

We warmly welcome our new partner and look forward to a successful collaboration!
