New regional networks and support for women entrepreneurs launched across Kosovo
During the second quarter of 2026, the “Her Future” project continued to strengthen cooperation with municipalities, institutions, and economic stakeholders across Kosovo, laying the foundation for stronger support to women entrepreneurs.
One of the project’s key achievements was the establishment of the NEXA regional networks, bringing together women entrepreneurs, local institutions, and development stakeholders across seven regions of Kosovo. These networks are designed to foster cooperation, knowledge exchange, and long-term support for women-led businesses.
Another important milestone was the Kick-Off Conference, held on 10 June 2026, which gathered representatives of institutions, municipalities, partner organizations, and women entrepreneurs. The event introduced the project’s vision while emphasizing the importance of building stronger support systems for women-led businesses and creating new opportunities through cooperation and mentorship.
The project also launched its Grant Scheme, providing women and girls with business ideas access to training, mentoring, and equipment support to help them start or expand their entrepreneurial activities. The application process has been accompanied by continuous communication with applicants to ensure transparency and equal access to information.
About the project
HER FUTURE – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Kosovo is a three-year project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project is implemented by PREDA Plus, in partnership with WEntrepreneur, and with the support of Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) Köln. Running from November 2025 to October 2028, the project aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship across all seven regions of Kosovo by improving business skills, expanding support networks, and creating a more enabling environment for women’s economic participation.
