Who We Serve

At Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund in Southeast Europe, our mission is to support those most in need, ensuring no one is left behind.

We are committed to improving the lives of vulnerable societal groups who face significant challenges in their daily lives.

Our efforts focus on:

Victims of Conflict and Domestic Violence: Offering protection and support for those affected by war, conflict, and domestic violence, helping them rebuild their lives through safe spaces, counseling and additional education.

People with Disabilities: Empowering individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities to lead independent, dignified lives through access to resources, healthcare, and social support, by supporting organizations working with them through our IRIS Network.

Displaced Persons and Migrants: Providing essential services and humanitarian aid to those forced to flee their homes, offering them shelter, protection, and assistance as they navigate the complexities of displacement.

Socio-Economically Vulnerable Groups: Supporting individuals and families facing poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion by offering opportunities for education, skill development, and economic empowerment through self-employment grant schemes.

Women, Youth, and Children at Risk: Safeguarding the most vulnerable, especially those at risk of abuse, exploitation, and neglect, by promoting equality, education, and safe environments for personal growth.

The Elderly: Ensuring the elderly receive the care, respect, and support they need to live with dignity, from healthcare services to social inclusion initiatives.

Through our work, we strive to create a more just and inclusive society where everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to live a life of dignity and purpose.
