Overall objective:
To protect, respect and fulfil the human rights of vulnerable groups, identify and fight discrimination in all its forms by supporting CSOs and governmental structures active in the human rights/democracy field

Specific project objectives:
Cluster 1: Empowerment of CSOs-human rights defenders/social service providers-equality, inclusion and respect for vulnerable groups activities:
1.1. Stakeholder Meetings
1.2. Applying the Human Rights Based Approach and gender mainstreaming into CSOs programme practices through trainings
1.3. Human rights/Democracy academy – horizontal educational approach
1.4. Financial support to grass-root CSOs developing HR community-based services and advocacy initiative
1.5. CSOs Peer Mentoring for increasing quality standards/strategies to influence policymaking and HRBA documents to create ripple effect
1.6. Training of CSOs on protecting and empowering individuals-Beneficiaries for Beneficiaries approach through LNOB social mapping method
Cluster 2: Policy influencing and awareness rising:
2.1. Context gender analysis – with the emphasis on preventive activities in socio-economic and human rights protection
2.2. Shadow report for monitoring and reporting efforts
2.3. Awareness-raising and communication campaign-Human Rights caravan-Reinforce freedom of expression and equality in the media aimed at sensitization of reporting about human rights and democracy of marginalized groups

Results:

  1. Raised capacities of at least 30 CSOs human rights defenders/social service providers to influence decision making process in protection of human rights and anti-discrimination policies of vulnerable groups.
  2. Increased networking with at least 20 Policy Beneficiaries to support CSOs in the process of establishing of non-discrimination and effective mechanisms for monitoring all forms of vulnerable group discrimination.
