Overall Objective
To create an environment for active participation of CSOs to influence policy and decision-making processes throughout advocacy and networking;
O2) CSOs and grass-root CSOs are capacitated to manage funds and act as effective and accountable independent actors..

Operation Purpose
SO1) Improved environment for civil society and strengthened capacities of organised active citizens, effective civic participation in policy processes at all levels, including a better legal framework for establishing, operating and funding of civil society organisations;
SO2) Enable support mechanisms for sustainable development of CSOs, grass root CSOs and newly established organisations;
SO3) Enhanced interaction between authorities and CSOs at both central and local level;
SO4) Increased CSOs internal governance, profiling (building expertise) and networking, and constituency building and visibility;
SO5) Increased public awareness of the role of CSOs, as well the importance of ensuring their involvement and contribution to the political decision-making processes.

Results:
R1) Preparatory activities successfully concluded through the signing of the Joint MoU, establishment of PSC and the development of SOPs by project partners;
R2) Baseline study of grass-root organizations document encompassing a comparative analysis on the situation in Macedonia completed and presented to relevant stakeholders
R3) National thematic grass-root CSO sectors identified, Coordination Groups established and made functional by the project co-applicants;
R4) National and local awareness on the need for closer collaboration between Civil and State sectors, raised and collaboration improved;
R5) Capacities built and improved for the CSOs in Macedonia by the project partners through adequate training mechanisms;
R6) CSOs in Macedonia mentored and strengthened, and sustainability increased through provided SGF;
R7) Public sector reforms successfully influenced by conducted Advocacy campaign in Macedonia;
R8) Best practices and lessons learnt disseminated.
