Overall objective: To contribute to sustainable local socioeconomic development and integration of vulnerable individuals, in particular women and youth, in BIH.
Project objective: 360 vulnerable individuals, particularly women and youth at risk, use the capacities created (better skills for employment, better business and job placement services and support for new and existing business) to generate income and find employment opportunities in competitive and innovative businesses.
Sub-objectives (Outputs):
1. Capacities for cooperation and exchange between the public, private and civil society sectors in the field of employment promotion and local development are strengthened in 6 target cities/municipalities, as well as at the national level in BIH.
2. Existing local institutions and organizations in 6 target municipalities (e.g. Employment Bureaus, municipal economic/social affairs departments, business service providers and civil society organizations) increase their capacity to offer more effective services and support the employment of vulnerable individuals.
3. 360 vulnerable individuals (women and youth) from 6 target municipalities improve their knowledge and skills and are enabled to become employed/self-employed.
4. At the end of the project, the local executing agency LIR CD is enabled to better support vulnerable individuals, esp. women and youth at risk, consistent with project goals.
