Overall Objective

To contribute to improving of the socio-economic situation and living conditions for the vulnerable groups of women in BiH.

Operation Purpose

1: To strengthen the overall capacity of the relevant local institutions, civil society, and grassroots groups in advocating for important reforms related to the social protection of vulnerable groups of women in 10 local communities in BiH (including the EU integration agenda in BiH).

2: To establish an interdisciplinary approach to local partnerships for solving the problem of social inclusion of vulnerable groups of women in the Bosnian-Herzegovina.

Results:

1. Functional and effective interdisciplinary model, as proactive mechanism for facilitating social inclusion of most vulnerable groups of women developed in 10 local communities.

2. Capacities for cooperation and exchange between the public, private and civil society sectors in the field of social inclusion of vulnerable women are strengthened in 10 local communities.

3. At least 1000 vulnerable women (in particular women victims of domestic violence, women with disabilities, elderly women and young Roma women) from 10 local communities improve their knowledge and skills and are enabled to become more self-independent

4. At least 10 policy reforms/integrated model of social protection in local communities for strengthening vulnerable groups of women in terms of inclusiveness, equal opportunities and accessibility, reach, service quality, environmental protection and gender-responsiveness initiated and advocated

5. At least 10 community-based initiatives supported via project’s small-grant scheme 

6. Improved public awareness and dissemination of knowledge between the public, private and civil society sectors in the field of social inclusion of vulnerable groups of women and benefits of advocated EU related reforms by local communities and CSOs
