Overall objective: To increase human rights of IDPs in line with the objectives related to the acquisition Chapter 23. Project objective: To increase economic empowerment support for 90 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Toplica, Pcinja and Jablanica districts.
Sub-objectives (Outputs): R1) 500 IDPs and IDP-related stakeholders in the targeted regions raised awareness on possibilities for economic self-reliance and return-related issues.
Main outputs:
Two press conferences (reaching 200 individuals each)
Two info-sessions carried out (hosting 50 persons each); R2) 90 IDPs increased their knowledge on establishing and running micro/small business (business trainings & mentoring). Main outputs:
90 IPDs attended 5 three-day start-up training courses.
30 start-up business plans developed and put in use (out of 90 submitted business ideas) R3) 30 IDPs increased their self-employment capacities (income generation grants) Main outputs:
30 income generation grants distributed based on the approved business plans. R4) 30 IDPs improved employment potential for ICT sectors (VET). Main outputs:
30 ICT certificates obtained upon successful competition of VETs;
10 internships in ICT companies realized (10 selected out of 30 VET participants).
