Overall objective of the project:

To contribute to overall increase in inclusion, employability and employment of hard-to-employ categories, especially returnees under the readmission agreements, Roma, as well as other hard-to-employ categories in accordance with the National Employment Strategy 2010-2020 and other relevant national and local strategies and plans.

Specific objectives of the project:

1: Increasing the employability of Roma, returnees under the readmission agreements, and other hard-to-employ categories through training programs tailored to the needs of the local labour market.

2: Support the inclusion of Roma youth and adults in 12 municipalities of Serbia.

Results:

  • 170 persons attended Business Start-up trainings 
  • 130 persons finalised VET (vocational-educational training)
  • 2500 youth and adults, primarily Roma, received targeted support for inclusion in educational system, labour market and social welfare system through inclusion workshops 
  • 12 local communities in Serbia actively support Roma youth/adult in their inclusion efforts
  • 1 final conference organized
