Wider Objective:
To contribute to overall efforts in fighting the pandemics and its negative, life-threating consequences in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Immediate objective:
To provide priority COVID 19 – related medical supplies and equipment for 5 public institutions – hospitals in cities of Bihac, Mostar (2 hospitals), East Sarajevo and Sarajevo
Results:
a) Targeted public health institutions have increased their ability to better cope with the
pandemics’ challenges through provision of needy medical items
b) Channels of fast and effective communication between health care providers, civil sector and donor structure improved and tested for eventual future, joint remedial actions
c) Visibility of donor’s commitment and determination to assist the country in emergency period significantly increased.
