More about the project
Overall objective: To contribute to regional cooperation and improved safety for victims of domestic violence in 4 Western Balka countries.
Specific objective: 11 shelters in BiH, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia offer better access and services to victims of domestic violence and develop cross-border links in this sector.
Planned measures:
- Physical capacities: 11 shelters increase their technical and physical capacities for the provision of services to victims of domestic violence through renovation and donation of equipment.
- Staff capacities: Selected staff of 11 supported shelters as well as additional partner shelters increase their knowledge and skills to offer support to victims of domestic violence through certified trainings.
- Regional cooperation and mutual learning: participating shelters in 4 Balkan countries are enabled to better understand the sector-specific challenges, use the opportunities for national and regional networking, share experience and knowledge and apply new methods and approaches for supporting victims of domestic violence.
