ASB in Bosnia and Herzegovina awarded mine victims with large cattle

2019-06-06

Under the project To Earn Not To Get in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ASB provided material grants to project beneficiaries.

In municipalities of Bihac, Velika Kladusa, Lukavac and Zvornik, ASB awarded beneficiaries with 58 units of cattle.

12 cows, 4 bulls and 42 sheep were delivered to 11 families in selected municipalities, due to increase socio-economic potential and income generation opportunities for mine victims or members of their families in this area.

Under the project „To Earn, Not To Get“, Arbeiter Samariter Bund is improving socio-economic inclusion of vulnerable mine victims and their families into the society, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This project was launched in 2018, financed by European Commission, Local governments and ASB Deutschland.

It is planned to help up to 66 mine victims and their family members by providing economic and material grants by the end of 2019.

Beside large cattle, in next period, beneficiaries will be also awarded with tractor attachments and 31 moto-cultivators.
