ASB organized free IKT training for IDPs and returnees in Serbia

2019-07-26

The 24 young IDPs from seven towns in Serbia (Kruševac, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Čačak, Raška, Trstenik and Aranđelovac) participated at three-months education for Java, Java Script and Graphic design. ASB together with Business Innovation Center has organised two training venues: in BIC and Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac. All courses are conducted two times per week, as agreed with trainees and according to their needs. The training is nearing its end, and it is expected that these young people soon will take final exams. Upon the courses completion, trainees will attend the seminar for stat-up small business organized in cooperation with project partner NGO CenTriR. Most active training participants will have opportunity to participate at internship in several ICT companies.

Education was organized within the project “Support to the sustainable return of internally displaced people to Kosovo*” funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to help families of internally displaced persons in their efforts for a sustainable return to Kosovo*. This project is part of the wider EU support program for sustainable solutions for internally displaced and reintegrated returnees in the total value of 5.65 million euros.
