ASB is starting the reconstruction of 168 flood affected houses in Obrenovac under the EU assistance for flood relief in Serbia programme. Project “Continuous support in housing reconstruction and economic revitalization of flood-affected areas in Serbia” is implemented in partnership with local organizations Housing Center, Initiative for Development and Cooperation (IDC) and Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation.
By the end of September 2016, at least 475 houses which are more severely damaged will be reconstructed in nine municipalities in Serbia: Valjevo, Sid, Ljubovija, Mali Zvornik, Osecina, Bajina Basta, Loznica, Sabac and Obrenovac. Moreover, 15 houses will be constructed equipped with furniture and appliances. The programme focuses on damaged business, and because of that at least 150 small and medium-scaled businesses will receive economic grants and mentoring for the revitalisation.

With the funds provided by the EU, ASB reconstructed 164 homes, construct 40 new and provide furniture and appliances. 134 family businesses renewed their activities owing to this support.
