GFM and ASB support victims of domestic violence in Prizren

As promised, we keep up the good work!
Country Director of ASB office in Kosovo, Ms.Dafina Hoxha, and the Mayor of Prizren, Mr. Shaqir Totaj, signed a Partnership Agreement on the project „𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐬 – 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞”, funded by the German Ministry of Foreign.

The Agreement will further support the joint effort of ASB and Municipality Prizren that will to co-finance the needs of local partner – Women’s and Children’s Shelter Center Prizren (WCSC-P). The needs are aligned with project objectives and include procurement, supply, and assembly of the photovoltaic system for WCSC-P, hopefully bringing sustainable growth of the Center and better support to victims of domestic violence in the future.

The project „𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐬 – 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞” will support 11 shelters for the victims of domestic violence in the West Balkan region. The project is funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, implemented by ASB South East Europe offices and co-funded by local government units in 11 project municipalities.
