We feel tremendously fulfilled whenever we get the chance to make our partners happy by making their everyday life easier, especially when it comes to vulnerable groups. This is exactly what happened in Lopare for the beneficiaries of the Center for Social Work.
Through our project Conflict Stabilization and Prevention through employment promotion and better social services for vulnerable groups in the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia), the activities on the construction of the access ramp and parking lot for people with disabilities have been successfully completed. The beneficiaries will now be able to more easily access the Center and claim their rights to services intended for them. Additionally, both exterior and interior joinery were painted, the façade at the entrance repaired, so the municipality of Lopare can boast of the beautified appearance of one of the most important institutions in town.
The handover was attended by Zeljko Kerovic from Lopare Municipality, Dejan Markovic, director of the Center, Cvjetko Mitrovic, the director of the Integral MCGcompany that has done its part superbly, as well as ASB representatives, Vedad Hadzisomanovic and Amela Selimovic.
