New equipment, furniture and material goods for social service providers in 10 municipalities in BiH

We are happy to announce that another component of our project has been successfully completed with the help of our local partners.

Namely, ASB SEE is currently implementing the project on Conflict Stabilization and Prevention through employment promotion and better social services for vulnerable groups in the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia). The purpose of the project is to provide operational equipment, furniture, material goods and upgrade of spatial conditions for social welfare centers (SWC) and non-governmental organizations (NGO) that provide social services to vulnerable children, youth, women, elderly and people with disabilities in ten different cities/municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After we had successfully completed the reconstruction of the premises of the Municipal Organization for the Blind and Visually Impaired from Teslić, ASB SEE Bosnia and Herzegovina Team, in cooperation with Teslić Municipality, donated valuable IT equipment to their beneficiaries. The computers and printers, which will be used by our friends in Teslic, were handed over to Željko Simeunić, the Chairperson of the Municipal Organization.

As part of the above-mentioned project, ASB SEE also completed the reconstruction of the Center for Social Work in Žepče. The works included the full renovation of the rest rooms, installment of brand-new floors and interior doors, as well as window shades. ASB Sarajevo staff, together with representatives of Žepče municipality, met with the management of the Center, visited the newly renovated premises and expressed their satisfaction with the end result.

However, there is no rest for ASB SEE, as we are continuing our activities towards the successful completion of the project.
