Germany supports shelter for victims of domestic violence in Leskovac, Serbia

Last week, ASB Country Office Serbia and the City of Leskovac signed Partnership Agreement on our new project „𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐬 – 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞”, funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The project will be implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Kosovo, supporting safe houses in 11 municipalities. Safe house in Leskovac will receive reconstruction works or equipment, furniture and/or upgrade of their facilities in line with defined needs, total value 29.000 EUR.

In addition to construction works on shelter facilities, ASB SEE will provide support to all project partners through organizing tailor-made training sessions for employees of safe houses, as well as active network for cooperation with representatives of other safe houses in West Balkan region.

Follow us for more, as we are now in the process of signing partnership agreements with other partners on the project throughout the Western Balkans.
