An old native American proverb says
In the first week of October we marked the International Children’s Week, hoping to raise awareness of the importance of respecting the rights of every child in Bosnia and Herzegovina, without discrimination, applying the principles in the best interest of our children.

The ASB representatives, Sava Pantelic, the Desk Officer for Southeast Europe and International Samaritan Cooperation, and Rusmir Hanic, the ASB SEE Project Manager, visited the Childrenโs Educational Center โGive us a Chance โ Little Starsโ in Banja Luka.
ASB had installed specialized devices in the sensory yard of the Center, that help develop motor skills in children with disabilities.

Since this is the only sensory yard of this kind in Banja Luka region, the โLittle Starsโ Center has become the regional center in providing therapeutic activities for the youngest population. Their services are now being used by beneficiaries with disabilities from other neighboring associations as well. This made them initiate the process of developing a formalized program for service provision to other similar organizations through the Center for Social Work in Banja Luka.
