𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 within IRIS network

With that in mind, the representatives of LIR Civil Society from Banja Luka and ASB South East Europe undertook activities in the organization of 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 that focus on work with children at risk and victims of peer violence. The conferences are designed as private gatherings where family members and independent coordinators are finding solutions to overcome family problems such are: behavioral disorders, learning difficulties, a tendency towards socially unacceptable behavior, etc.

In addition to providing the training for initiators/independent coordinators, the project „𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐒𝐎𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤“ in this phase includes presentations of family group conferences to the relevant institutions. In case they express the interest, this type of conferences will be organized in the future as part of another project, subject to its approval.

Kljuc and Dobretic were the final two locations visited and presented with the concept of family group conferences, while the relevant presentations had already been organized in other project municipalities (Sapna, Teslic, Lopare, Ljubinje, Trebinje, Brod, Modrica, Vares, Ustikolina/Foca and Domaljevac/Samac).
