Connecting civil and private sector for the good cause

ASB SEE is currently implementing the project named “Conflict Stabilization and Prevention through employment promotion and better social services for vulnerable groups in the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia)”. The purpose of the project is to provide operational equipment, furniture, material goods and upgrade of spatial conditions for 10 Social Welfare Centers (SWC) and non-governmental organizations (NGO) that provide social services to cca 1,330 vulnerable children, youth, women, elderly and people with disabilities in ten different cities/municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On June 21, ASB SEE BiH Team visited Lopare for the purpose of signing the contract with the director of the Integral MCG company, Mr. Cvjetko Mitrović. The company was selected to carry out exterior works on construction of parking lot and access ramp for disabled persons in front of the Social Welfare Centre in Lopare Municipality within 45 calendar days from the day of signing the contract.

During the same day, our team from Sarajevo paid a visit to Gračanica, another city covered by the project. In the presence of the ASB Project Supervisor, Vedad Hadžiosmanović, contract was signed with the owner of the Parket Memić company, Mr. Senad Memić. The company will undertake reconstruction on the premises of the Social Welfare Centre in Gračanica, inclusive of carpentry and flooring works. The deadline for implementation of works is 15 days.
