Djordjevic, Jovic and Asanovic family can finally start a better life.
As a beneficiaries of our project “Support to IDPs and returnees in 4 LSG in Central Serbia through provision of durable housing solutions and economic sustainability measures”, they received a homes, building material and economic packages, to start a new life with their family in Serbia.
Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) Serbia, in partnership with the City of Kruševac and the Municipalities of Ub, Ćićevac and Aranđelovac, implements this project which was funded by the European Union within the programme “Improvement of the living conditions of IDPs and returnees from readmission process in Serbia”.
ASB supported selected Municipalities for providing durable housing solutions and economic sustainable measures for IDPs and returnees, by building 7 prefabricated houses, purchasing 14 village houses, distribution of 10 building material packages and 15 economic packages.
By the end of this project, 31 IDP/returnees families will obtain durable housing solutions and up to 15 IDP/returnees families will be supported with economic packages in order to increase their socio-economic (re)integration.
Thanks to EU support through the program valued more than 5.6 mill euro, ASB helped more than 30 families in Serbia to get their homes.
