2020-06-29

This action was funded by the German Foreign Ministry and during last week ASB awarded first 7 Associations, IRIS Network members in 6 municipalities in BIH:

  • Altruist in Mostar
  • Growing Up Together, in Gacko

  • Association for help to mentally disabled persons, in Banja Luka
  • New generation, in Banja Luka
  • Women from the Una, Bihac
  • The children’s country, from Tuzla
  • Butterfly , in Srebrenica
  • RUHAMA Center for Health and Palliative Care, in Zenica

Given that these institutions work with the most vulnerable population at the time of the COVID19 pandemic, in order to facilitate isolation, by sharing IT equipment, the idea is to enable beneficiary’s easier and more frequent contact with family and friends. Namely, the associations are awarded with a set of computers, televisions, cameras, speakers and other accompanying equipment, so that their users can strengthen or establish regular online communication with their loved ones while respecting the requirements of social distancing.
