2023-07-04

Our mission at ASB is to make sure that every person has an equal opportunity to live and succeed. With that in mind, we try as much as we can to create a world of no limits for persons who are blind or visually impaired.

Therefore, we are happy to announce that, as part of the project on Conflict Stabilization and Prevention through employment promotion and better social services for vulnerable groups in the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia), ASB SEE Bosnia and Herzegovina Team, in cooperation with Teslić Municipality, has successfully completed the reconstruction of the premises of the Municipal Organization of the Blind and Visually Impaired from Teslić.

The beneficiaries of the Organization will now be able to enjoy the newly renovated space for free activities, as well as the brand-new kitchen area. The contractor successfully completed all of the construction works contained in the contract, using the highest quality materials and equipment.

ASB SEE Regional Director, Mr. Elmir Bojadzić, together with our municipal partners, the Deputy Mayor, Milovan Stankovic, and the Head of Department for Economy and Agriculture, Borislav Tešić, was honored to hand over the reconstructed premises to the members of the Municipal Organization of the Blind and Visually Impaired for further use.

The project on Conflict Stabilization and Prevention through employment promotion and better social services for vulnerable groups in the Western Balkans is funded by German Federal Foreign Ministry @auswaertigesamt.
